About

The International Academic Coworking Network (IACN) is the follow-up project of the European Academic Coworking Network (EACN), which was one of the four objectives of the Erasmus+ project 'Cowork4EU: Coworking Best Practices for European Universities'. The IACN aims to give university coworking spaces the opportunity to join a network of other university coworking spaces in order to promote exchange and collaboration between coworking spaces, students, researchers, and startups.

The project Cowork4EU is an Erasmus+ project led by TU Dortmund University, Germany, Prague University of Economics and Business, Czechia, Paris School of Business, France, and Seeburg Castle Private University from Austria. Cowork4EU aims to boost coworking at universities in Europe. Aside from the IACN, the project teaches the foundations of coworking and new work in seminars that connect students from the partner universities. Further, an in-depth best practice report will be published that analyzes the current status quo of coworking at European universities. The project runs from 2022 to 2025.
