Once a fish store - today COI.

The project room COI is a workspace & event location.
The initials COI stand for C-oworking, O-pen events & your I-deas and describe our intentions as a student initiative. Since 2018, we have been using the former fish store at the Alter Markt in Bernburg, by offering free coworking places and organizing events: Essentially, our aim is to share space and resources and to live empowerment and participation.

The COI is an open space in the center of Bernburg, where people come together in a convivial atmosphere. Thanks to the support of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, the operation costs of the project room do not have to be covered by the initiative, enabling us to work on a non-commercial basis: On almost 90m2 there are free workplaces at your disposal. In addition, various cultural events such as workshops, exhibitions or culinary evenings take place regularly.

Our doors are open for international students from all over the world and we are happy to welcome you for coworking or joining upcoming events!
