SkyLab @ École Centrale de Lyon // Université de Lyon
The SkyLab is a 1,200 m² open-access area that offers new collaborative work spaces. It is attached to the Michel Serres Library. Designed to encourage creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit, it will also demonstrate the value of research and projects conducted by the laboratories. This place will also welcome businesses and academic partners, giving them access to Centrale Lyon’s innovative resources.
An open-access creativity room will allow meetings, talks and events to be held, with a capacity for about one hundred people. This modular space can be rearranged for working in small groups of 6-12 people. Other rooms that are less open-plan but still configurable (cubicles, co-design room, training room) will be available for training, experiments or even the particular needs of teachers, lecturers, researchers and partners.
