The premises of the StartupSpace are used by the Transfer & Startup Hub are open to students, graduates and employees of the University of Göttingen for the realization of their start-up projects.

The infrastructure can be used free of charge around the clock and offers optimal conditions for founders. The university's start-up teams have access to offices, meeting rooms, coworking spaces and event space in the StartupSpace, and the Transfer & Startup Hub team supports the founders in personal meetings, workshops and events. After the start-up, the GWG and SNIC Incubator team is available as a point of contact. Networking opportunities with other founders, established startups and companies from the region also further liven up the location.

The European Regional Development Fund project "Startup Spaces of the Transfer & Startup Hub University of Göttingen", which was launched in April 2024, provides founders with a total of 14 workspaces. The start-up spaces are intended to establish an interface of the start-up ecosystem between the region and the university and make a significant contribution to the start-up culture. With the focus on female entrepreneurship and intercultural/international founders, two target groups are also addressed in particular.
