The Startup Port wants to enable people to found socially valuable companies so that innovative solutions improve the lives of many.

As a start-up centre of the Hamburg University of Technology, they have been supporting innovative start-ups from the university sector since 2013. The Startup Port is based in the Harburg inland harbour.

The Startup Port inspires, qualifies and promotes startups:
- They inspire students, academics and graduates for the topic of "entrepreneurship" and strengthen the startup culture on campus.
- They qualify founders and those interested in founding a business to think and act entrepreneurially.
- They support founders and technology-oriented startups during the successful establishment of their company.

The Startup Port @ TUHH offers office space, meeting rooms, a small workshop and enough space for events, lunches together or a table tennis match.
